MINNESOTA SHOW POSTERS
As a music fanatic and avid show-goer, I attended over 270 concerts at various venues around the Twin Cities while living in Minnesota for 12+ years. This high volume of shows was thanks in large part due to my working relationships with the venues First Avenue & 7th St Entry as well as the record store Electric Fetus. I've been tracking the shows I attend over the years and designed a poster series to highlight the venues I frequented most often and artists I saw in Minnesota.
STOOP KIDZ! A HEY ARNOLD! PODCAST
My friends and I started rewatching Hey Arnold! — one of our favorite TV shows from the 90s / early 2000s, and recorded our conversations about it — turning it into a podcast. For our episode releases and social media feeds, I conceptualized a unique brand identity inspired by the TV show itself and its era to showcase specific scenes and characters.
MINNESOTA DNR
I've worked extensively on the ongoing campaign "Safety Is Always in Season" for the Minnesota DNR to spread safety tips and tools related to boating, fishing and operating ATVs. I've designed a wide range of assets for the campaign, including truck side signage, stickers, towels, water bottles, keychains, digital ads, storyboard concepts and videos (a few of which can be viewed here).
FIRST AVENUE & 7TH ST ENTRY
Designing show posters for First Avenue & 7th St Entry was a great way for me to explore type, textures and layouts while ensuring the overall aesthetic aligned with the artist's / band's own style. I also worked on a variety of social media graphics, designed new poster guidelines specific to each of the club's venues and edited many promotional videos (a few of which can be viewed here).
TWIN CITIES HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
I worked within brand guidelines to create positive social media graphics, CTAs and webpages for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.
STORYTELLER MEDIA + COMMUNICATIONS
I designed branded icons and created graphics for a series of shareable social media carousels to help the agency promote their video production services.
VOICE PIECE
After a friend started a feminist music blog which other friends and I contributed to, I challenged myself to turn the website into a fresh magazine with a unique identity. I worked on the publication's layouts, created illustrations, edited photos and developed a color palette to present the blog's articles in a new light.
